Experienced Armed Security Guard

We are currently seeking Experienced Armed Security Officers to join our team, and contribute to our mission of maintaining a safe and secure environment by providing effective professional security services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure safety.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
• Conduct security screenings of individuals and packages as required.
• Enforce site policies and regulations, as well as applicable state and federal laws.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports of activities, incidents, and observations.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Remain calm, decisive, and professional in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid, state-issued, ARMED security license (armed officers must possess a current firearm certification valid through LSBPSE)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid State issued driver's license
• Previous security experience
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Strong observation and reporting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
• Willingness to work flexible hours; including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work in all environments – exposure to heat, cold, and other weather-related conditions
• Preferential hiring of POST certified law enforcement (current or former), as well as active or veteran members of the US Military
