About the role

We are seeking an Experienced Assistant Pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy team in Kuala Lumpur on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal position within our pharmaceutical operations, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective provision of pharmaceutical services to our diverse clientele. As an Experienced Assistant Pharmacist, you will support our clinical and operational pharmacy functions, contributing directly to patient safety, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality healthcare services across our aesthetic and pharmaceutical divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation, compounding, and dispensing of pharmaceutical products according to prescriptions and pharmaceutical standards
• Conducting quality control checks on pharmaceutical preparations and ensuring adherence to Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) guidelines
• Managing pharmacy inventory, including stock control, ordering, receiving, and storage of medicines and pharmaceutical supplies
• Supporting the registration and documentation of pharmaceutical products in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Providing accurate and professional pharmaceutical information to patients and healthcare professionals
• Assisting in the maintenance of pharmacy records and patient medication profiles
• Supporting the pharmacist in clinical services, including patient counselling and medication therapy management
• Ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical legislation, regulations, and ethical standards
• Contributing to pharmacy workflow optimisation and operational efficiency
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe pharmacy environment
