With a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, we are looking for a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about vehicles and have a knack for diagnosing and repairing automotive issues, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including oil changes, brake services, tire rotations
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues , including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Use power tools and specialized equipment to disassemble, inspect, and assemble vehicle components
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and functionality
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs, costs, and timelines
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques
• Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Use Mitchell 1/ Protractor for work orders and timeclock

Skills & Qualifications

• MUST currently be enrolled in an apprenticeship program for Automotive Technician
• ASE certification or equivalent is considered an asset
• Experience with Protractor considered an asset, but not required
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for automotive repair
• Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs are made
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of customer service
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the automotive industry
