Experienced Barista

Job Overview

Were looking for a solid Barista who has a couple years of specialty coffee experience to be a part of our already solid team.

We are a tight crew serving high end specialty coffee and running a wholesale program. Everyone on the team has solid experience and cares about the others well being time and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, non-alcoholic drinks, and food items with precision and care
• Operate POS system (toast)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and sanitation standards
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately while managing register operations
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and beverage service
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards
• Follow checklists, special cleaning and organization tasks

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage service
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Strong attention to detail in food handling, food safety, and cleanliness standards
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and accurate transaction processing
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Knowledge of food industry standards related to food preparation, serving, and beverage creation
• Solid communication skills

Seeking someone to be a member of a team. That means communication with the team, an ability to receive feedback with humility, and a desire to grow with a team thats looking to stick around for a while.

We start at $16/hr + tips (usually around $10/ hr). After 90 days you accrue PTO. We are super laid back about drinks, retail coffee, food and using the workshop.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
