Experienced Bartender

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bartender to join our team. You will craft exceptional beverages, deliver outstanding customer service, and create memorable guest experiences. Pay ranges from $12.50 to $18.50 (plus tips), depending on experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of specialty drinks and signature cocktails
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and handling cash responsibly
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience while staying within operational guidelines
• Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth service flow and minimize downtime
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of service quality, safety protocols, and responsible alcohol service

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender with a strong background in mixology and beverage crafting within fine dining or upscale hospitality settings
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, cocktail techniques, and beverage recipe development
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods seamlessly
• Food safety certification and understanding of proper food handling procedures are essential
• Previous experience in nightclub or banquet settings is preferred for versatility in service environments
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, billing, and inventory management effectively
• Hospitality industry experience demonstrating professionalism in fast-paced environments is highly valued
