Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking drink orders accurately while providing knowledgeable recommendations on spirits, wines, craft beers, and cocktails.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Manage cash transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and handling cash accurately.
• Develop innovative beverage recipes to enhance the bar menu and cater to guest preferences, incorporating current trends in mixology.
• Monitor inventory levels regularly, restocking supplies as needed to ensure seamless service without shortages.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods like banquets or nightclub events.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs diligently and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings with a strong background in mixology and cocktail crafting.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, beverage recipes, and food safety protocols within the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering and cash handling is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally while managing multiple orders efficiently.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising quality or safety standards.
• Previous experience working in food service environments that require food handling certifications or catering experience is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days; nightclub experience is a plus.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
