Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of specialty drinks and promotions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing and efficient service
• Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible serving practices in compliance with alcohol regulations
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully equipped during busy hours
• Collaborate with team members across food service, catering, or banquet functions to deliver seamless service in various hospitality settings

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments preferred; retail math skills are a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that energizes guests
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures required
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales tracking, and retail math calculations
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements and responsible beverage service practices
• Familiarity with food industry terminology including catering, food service, brewing processes, and restaurant operations is advantageous
