Duties

• Candidet Must be willing to cook a limited menu.
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits with precision and flair.
• Develop and refine beverage recipes to keep offerings fresh and innovative.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and delivering an exceptional experience.
• Manage bar operations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions, cash handling, and order entry.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food items at the bar or in designated dining areas.
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while processing payments swiftly to keep lines moving during busy hours.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service flow during peak times such as nightclub events or banquets.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication.

Experience

• Must have experience in the kitchen.
• Must know how to cook basic food.
• Proven bartending experience in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings with a strong foundation in mixology.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills.
• Previous experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales and cash handling.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation practices within the food industry.
• Experience working in hospitality environments that require quick thinking and adaptability during high-volume periods.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales totals, tips, and inventory counts.
• Knowledge of cocktail techniques such as shaking, stirring, muddling, layering, and garnishing.
