Experienced Bindery Operator

Job Summary
We are URGENTLY seeking a skilled Bindery Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various MAILING machinery and equipment within a manufacturing facility. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Machine Operator will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently while adhering to quality control standards.

Duties

• Operate and monitor MAILING machinery such as Flowmasters, Inkjet systems, Bindery machines, Folders, Inserters, ect.
• Perform setup and adjustments on machinery
• Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify product dimensions.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient materials handling and packaging of finished products.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment while adhering to company policies regarding quality control.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a mail facility is essential.
• Familiarity with mailing machines, machine operation, quality procedures
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining processes, tooling, assembly, and materials handling.
• Experience with quality control procedures and an understanding of precision measuring instruments is highly desirable.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
