Experienced Bookeeper

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing restaurant management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with hands-on experience using QuickBooks and Restaurant365 (R365) and Excel.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting functions, and supporting the financial operations of multiple restaurant locations.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting activities for multiple restaurant locations.
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Restaurant365.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Track and reconcile vendor invoices, payments, and statements.
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper coding and allocation across locations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and expense reports.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and help maintain strong financial controls.
• Work closely with ownership and management to provide accurate, timely financial information.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Restaurant365 (R365) and Excel strongly preferred.
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Experience managing financial records for multiple business entities or locations.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
