Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. Your expertise will support the organization’s financial health by maintaining precise ledgers, reconciling accounts, and processing transactions efficiently. Responsibilities

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts using accounting software such as QuickBooks and similar systems.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Process accounts receivable transactions promptly while verifying invoices and receipts.
• Prepare and record journal entries, including debits & credits, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Manage payroll processing accurately, including deductions, benefits, and tax filings.
• Conduct account analysis and account reconciliation tasks to identify discrepancies and resolve issues swiftly.
• Utilize spreadsheets for detailed financial analysis, budgeting support, and reporting purposes.
• Support year-end closing activities, including general ledger reconciliation and audit preparation.

Experience

• Proven bookkeeping experience with a strong understanding of accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online and similar platformsas well as AI.
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate accounting practices, including double-entry bookkeeping and financial concepts.
• Familiarity with payroll processing, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis is essential.
• Knowledge of GAAP standards and technical accounting principles is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in spreadsheets, journal entries, and financial software tools is necessary.
• Prior experience in public accounting or working with diverse accounting standards will be considered an asset.
