Experienced Bricklayers - Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bricklayer / Supervisor to join our team and oversee bricklaying projects from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, reliable and motivated bricklayer who is ready to take the next step into a supervisory role. You will be responsible for leading a team on site, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards and keeping projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate bricklaying teams on site
• Carry out bricklaying work to a high standard when required
• Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
• Organise daily site activities and coordinate with other trades
• Monitor team members' hours and attendance
• Monitor quality and ensure all work meets required standards
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised worksite
• Communicate effectively with builders, contractors, clients and team members
• Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently

About you

• Proven experience as a bricklayer
• Previous supervisory or leading-hand experience
• Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques, materials and construction practices
• Ability to read and understand construction plans
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management and problem-solving skills
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Relevant trade qualifications and a current White Card
