Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication of cabinets and wood fixtures
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom cabinetry using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, including power tool safety protocols and proper handling of construction materials
• Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, caulking, staining, and applying protective finishes to achieve a polished look
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and meet project deadlines
• Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication and installation process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship
• Assist with other carpentry tasks including door hanging, fixture installation, siding work, drywall finishing, and remodeling projects as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cabinet maker or in a similar woodworking or carpentry role within the construction or restoration industry
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding construction plans
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, metal stud framing equipment, and heavy lifting techniques
• Experience with residential carpentry including trim carpentry, door hanging, flooring installation, siding, and fixture installation
• Familiarity with construction site safety practices including power tool safety and rebar installation when applicable
• Ability to work efficiently on construction sites with experience in concrete forming, plastering, rebar installation, water damage restoration, drywall finishing, caulking, stucco application, mold remediation and reinstallation of various fixtures
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and adapt to changing project requirements
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions; strong attention to detail; excellent communication skills

Pay: From $32.00 per hour
