Experienced cafe chef - no evenings

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced cafe chef to join our vibrant team! Duties

• Lead food production and cooking activities to deliver fresh, tasty dishes that delight our customers
• Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient use of resources
• Oversee food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper storage practices
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely serving of orders and excellent customer experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations at all times

Experience

• Proven culinary experience within a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality environment with a focus on food preparation and cooking
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
• Experience working independently
• Hands-on experience with food production processes, from ingredient prep to final plating
• Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and coordinate with front-of-house staff
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable.

The role can involve working across our other cafes in the Cardiff area.

Pay: £13.30-£13.90 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 42.0 per week
