Experienced Cafe/Retail Assistant

Artisan Café, Rangiora Bakery is a well-established, vibrant, and respected North Canterbury business. We work hard and are committed to providing our customers with high quality, consistent food and excellent customer service.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced part-time retail/cafe assistant who will provide excellent customer service while also assisting in the smooth operation of the cafe. This position will ideally suit someone with previous experience in a fast-paced retail/cafe environment, barista experience is an advantage.

To be successful you will

• Have minimum of two years' experience in a face paced cafe/retail environment.

• Be reliable and have a passion for food and hospitality, ensuring every customer has a memorable experience.

• Have a high attention to detail and dedication to maintaining standards

• Be physically fit and work with a sense of urgency

• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional manner

• Have a positive attitude and great initiative

• Able to work as part of a team and independently

• Flexible in availability as our Café operates 7 days a week, one weekend day required, minimum 24 hours per week
