We are looking for an experienced and passionate Cake Decorator to join our team at Cake Box Brentwood!

If you have a creative flair, excellent cake decorating skills and a passion for producing beautiful cakes, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Decorate and finish cakes to a high standard, following Cake Box designs and customer requirements.
• Create personalised cakes for birthdays, celebrations and special occasions.
• Prepare and decorate cakes, cupcakes and other products.
• Write messages on cakes neatly and accurately.
• Ensure all cakes meet our quality, presentation and freshness standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic working environment.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Assist with preparing customer orders and meeting collection deadlines.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service when required.

Requirements

• Previous professional cake decorating experience is essential.
• Strong skills in piping, icing, writing and cake finishing.
• Excellent attention to detail and a creative approach.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment.
• Reliable, punctual and well organised.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends and busy periods when required.
