Experienced Car Mechanic– Full time

Experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic – £150–£230 Per Day

Saxmundham, Suffolk
£150–£230 per day, depending on experience
Full-Time | Long-Term Position | Immediate Start Available

ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED MECHANIC LOOKING FOR A PLACE WHERE YOUR SKILLS ARE ACTUALLY VALUED?

DRC Auto Sales Ltd is looking for an experienced, reliable and confident Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our team in Saxmundham.

We're an established independent used-car dealership with a busy and varied stock of vehicles, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants a stable, long-term position with good earning potential.

This isn't a role where you'll be doing the same job on the same vehicles every day.

You'll work across a variety of makes and models, diagnosing faults, servicing vehicles and carrying out mechanical repairs as part of preparing and maintaining our stock.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

£150–£230 PER DAY, DEPENDING ON YOUR EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY

We believe good mechanics should be rewarded for their skills.

You'll also receive:

• Full-time work
• Long-term, stable position
• Regular and varied mechanical work
• Friendly, straightforward working environment
• Independence and responsibility in your role
• Opportunity to demonstrate your skills and progress with the business
• Immediate start available for the right person

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Mechanical fault diagnosis
• General mechanical repairs
• Brakes and suspension
• Timing belts and related mechanical work
• Preparing vehicles for MOT
• Identifying faults and advising what repairs are required
• Inspecting vehicles and ensuring work is completed to a good standard

You'll be trusted to use your experience and mechanical knowledge rather than needing someone constantly supervising you.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're particularly interested in hearing from you if you're an experienced mechanic who knows their way around a vehicle and can confidently diagnose and repair faults.

You should be:

• Experienced in vehicle mechanics
• Confident with fault finding and diagnostics
• Competent with servicing and general repairs
• Reliable and punctual
• Hardworking and responsible
• Able to work independently
• Proud of the standard of your work
• Comfortable working on different makes and models

Formal qualifications are an advantage, but practical ability, experience and reliability are extremely important to us.

LOOKING FOR A CHANGE?

If you're currently working in a garage and feel your experience isn't being properly recognised, or you're looking for a more independent role with good earning potential and long-term stability, we'd like to hear from you.

You don't need to prepare a long application.

Simply call, WhatsApp or email us and tell us a little about your mechanical experience.
