What they need
Are you an experienced Automotive Paint Sprayer looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to work with innovative automotive coating technology?
We are a newly established and ambitious business, launching as the official UK installer and distributor of CARDIP®, an innovative, German-engineered Peelable Paint System that combines the appearance of traditional automotive paint with the benefits of a removable protective coating.
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Automotive Paint Sprayer to join our growing team and play an important role in establishing CARDIP in the UK market.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business from the beginning, receive specialist manufacturer training and develop your career as the company grows.
The Role
Working from our Tadley facility, you will be responsible for preparing, spraying and finishing vehicles to an exceptional standard.
Unlike many traditional bodyshop positions, this role will focus heavily on complete vehicle resprays and transformations, alongside individual panel work and specialist coating applications.
You will work closely with ourTechnical Manager, who will provide ongoing technical guidance, hands-on support and assistance as you develop your knowledge of the CARDIP® system.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing complete vehicles and individual panels for spraying.
- Carrying out minor bodywork repairs, filler work and surface preparation.
- Spraying complete vehicles and individual panels to a high standard.
- Mixing and applying automotive paint and specialist coating systems.
- Learning and applying the CARDIP® Peelable Paint System.
- Colour matching, blending, polishing and finishing.
- Inspecting completed work to ensure exceptional quality standards.
- Maintaining spray booths, equipment and a clean, safe working environment.
- Working closely with the Technical Manager to develop skills and improve processes.
About You
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated individual who takes genuine pride in producing high-quality finishes.
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Paint Sprayer.
- Experience spraying complete vehicles as well as individual panels.
- Good knowledge of vehicle preparation and minor bodywork repairs.
- Experience with modern automotive paint systems and spray equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn new techniques.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable experience:
- Prestige, luxury or performance vehicles.
- Full vehicle colour changes or custom paint finishes.
- Paint Protection Film (PPF) or vehicle wrapping.
- Specialist automotive coatings.
Previous CARDIP® experience is not required, as full manufacturer training will be provided.
What We Offer
- £35,000–£47,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Comprehensive specialist manufacturer training.
- Dedicated on-site Technical Manager providing ongoing guidance and support.
- The opportunity to work with innovative German coating technology.
- A modern workshop with professional equipment.
- Opportunities for career development and progression as the business expands.
- The chance to join a growing business and play an important role in its success.
- Free on-site parking.
