Experienced Caregiver- Sumter County

We are looking for compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to join our team at Amada Senior Care Clermont! In this role, you'll provide personalized, quality care to older adults and seniors in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. We are currently prioritizing applicants who live within or near our service area. Applicants with lengthy commutes from outside our service area may not be considered.

We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on caregiving experience with seniors or adults
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a Level II background screening
• Communication skills
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow
• CPR Certification or willingness to obtain it before employment

Responsibilities

• Companionship and meaningful conversation
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Laundry and household organization
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Mobility assistance and fall prevention
• Alzheimer’s and dementia support
• Documenting care and communicating changes in client condition
• Providing exceptional care with dignity, patience, and compassion
