Experienced Carpenter

NOW HIRING – EXPERIENCED KITCHEN REMODELING CARPENTER / CABINET INSTALLER Kitchen Tune-Up – Beaufort, SC Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Weekends Off $20–$30 per hour, based on experience Kitchen Tune-Up is looking for an experienced, skilled carpenter / cabinet installer to join our growing remodeling team.

We are looking for a true craftsman who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and can independently perform high-quality cabinet installation, cabinet modifications, finish carpentry, and general kitchen remodeling work.

This is not an entry-level position. We need someone with hands-on carpentry and remodeling experience who can step onto a jobsite, understand the work that needs to be accomplished, and complete it professionally, accurately, and efficiently.

Responsibilities & Required Skills

• Install, level, align, and secure kitchen cabinetry
• Perform cabinet modifications and custom fitting in the field
• Install and modify base, wall, and pantry cabinets
• Install crown molding, light rail, toe kicks, shoe molding, fillers, finished panels, and trim
• Perform detailed finish carpentry
• Install and adjust cabinet doors and drawer fronts
• Install and adjust soft-close hinges and drawer slides
• Install knobs, pulls, and other cabinet hardware
• Install rollout trays and cabinet storage accessories
• Accurately measure, cut, fit, and make field adjustments
• Read measurements and basic plans/layouts
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and develop practical solutions
• Perform general kitchen remodeling and punch-list work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite

• Able to perform the physical requirements associated with kitchen remodeling and cabinet installation

Tools & Transportation

Kitchen Tune-Up provides the tools required to perform the job. Experienced carpenters are also welcome to use their own personal tools when preferred.
