Experienced Carpenter

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on residential properties, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help bring construction plans to life, transforming blueprints into tangible structures with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and metal components using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines.
• Perform framing, roofing, and siding installation with attention to detail.
• Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, windows, flooring, trim, and other finishing elements in residential settings.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations, including power tool safety and heavy lifting procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to all safety regulations and standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
• Extensive hands-on experience with residential carpentry, trim carpentry, framing, and woodworking techniques.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, CNC machines, and woodworking machines for fabrication and assembly.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction site safety practices including power tool safety protocols.
• Familiarity with various building materials such as wood construction materials, siding products, and flooring options.
• Experience in restoration industry projects or remodeling work is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Additional skills such as caulking, tile laying, fixture installation (including cabinetry), and roofing work are highly desirable.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
