Experienced Carpet Cleaning Technician

Overview

One Way Property Restoration is opening a new location and is seeking an experienced Carpet Cleaning Technician to deliver reliable, high-quality cleaning services to multi-family industry in the Austin, Texas area. The ideal candidate has hands-on carpet-cleaning experience, communicates professionally with customers, and can work safely and independently.

Duties

• · Perform carpet cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, shampooing, spot cleaning, and deep cleaning, using industry-standard equipment and techniques.
• Inspect carpets to determine the appropriate cleaning method, considering the type of carpet, stains, and customer preferences.
• Move furniture and other obstacles as necessary for water extractions to ensure effective water removal.
• Apply stain removers and deodorizers to carpets to eliminate odors and stubborn stains.
• Utilize proper safety measures and follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform water extractions.
• Operate specialized equipment, such as dehumidifiers and air movers.
• Maintain and clean equipment after each job to ensure its longevity and optimal performance.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions the customers may have.
• Keep accurate records of completed jobs, including information about the carpet condition, cleaning methods used, and getting approval for any additional services provided.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve carpet cleaning techniques and stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• 2 years of experience
• Satisfactory background check
• Able to be on call – 24 hour emergency Service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Great Communication and Customer Service Skills.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
