Experienced Ceramic Decal Printer – Sakurai Automated Screen Press

THE ROLE

You'll run a Sakurai fully automated screen-printing press, one of our five fully automated lines, and produce high-quality ceramic decals to tight colour and registration standards. You'll play a key part in our day-to-day production as we grow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, run and monitor the Sakurai fully automated press

• Print onglaze, inglaze, underglaze and glass decals to customer specifications

• Check colour matching, registration and print quality throughout each run

• Handle screens, inks, media and covercoat correctly

• Do routine cleaning and basic maintenance on the press

• Keep production records and report any problems quickly

• Work with the team to hit deadlines and keep waste low

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience as a screen printer in ceramic decals or transfers

• Experience on automated screen presses (Sakurai experience a strong advantage)

• A good eye for colour, detail and print quality

• A solid understanding of ceramic inks, media and covercoats

• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work alone or in a team

• Flexible about overtime when production needs it
