Experienced CNC Machinist Setup/Operator

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist Setup/Operator responsible for setting up and running 3-, 4-, and 5-axis equipment to produce high-quality parts to exacting standards.

Core Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines (horizontal and vertical) to produce parts to manufacturing specifications
• Read and interpret customer prints and technical drawings while adjusting settings for optimal results
• Adjust machine settings, tool paths, and offsets for optimal quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, quality, and uniformity using standard measuring equipment
• Monitor coolants, oils, tooling, and machine condition; perform basic machine maintenance to ensure consistent production
• Collaborate with team members to maintain precision and resolve issues

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a skilled machinist (or formal training in the machining trade) is required
• Solid understanding of machining practices, tolerances, tool selection, and G-code
• Experience setting up CNC machines
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and with close attention to detail
