Experienced Concrete & Masonry Construction Worker

Capital Demolition & Construction is seeking a hard-working, reliable, well organized and competent

Crew Leader/Working Foreman for small commercial concrete demolition and installation company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and execute field work involving excavation, concrete, masonry, carpentry
• Read drawings
• Operate and deliver heavy equipment - CDL A
• Lead a crew of laborers/masons by example
• Communicate job status and requirements with Project Manager
• Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and work sites to ensure that quality standards are being met
• Maintain a safe and clean job site free of hazards

Pay Rate Based On Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years' experience in construction industry (preferred)
• Concrete & Masonry Cutting, Breaking, Installation Experience
• Concrete Form Work & Rebar
• Equipment Operation - Excavator/Backhoe/Skid-Steer
• Familiar with trench work, footings, foundations, slabs, bollards, asphalt, loading docks, CMU
• Ability to drive trucks and trailers - Chain down equip/loads - CDL A a plus
• Knowledge of construction material specifications and best practices.
• Knowledge of building codes (preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings (preferred)
• Knowledge of hand tools (hand tools, power tools, basic construction equipment etc.).
• Welding/Equipment Repair a plus
• Spanish/English speaking a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
