We are looking for an experienced CPA or Enrolled Agent who wants to join a supportive, close-knit firm where your expertise, personality, and ambition truly matter.

About the Role

We are seeking a personable, detail-oriented CPA or Enrolled Agent with 8+ years of experience in tax and accounting. The ideal candidate enjoys building strong client relationships, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is excited to contribute to the continued growth of a boutique firm.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in New York City, combining remote flexibility with in-person collaboration in our Manhattan office.

In this role, you will manage a diverse client base, including small businesses, entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals, and clients in specialized industries. Experience working with agents, entertainers, or entertainment-industry clients is a plus.

Our accountants have a high degree of autonomy and work directly with their clients throughout the year, with support and final review from firm leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, business, and entity tax returns
• Provide tax planning, tax preparation, accounting, and advisory support
• Manage client relationships and communicate clearly with clients throughout the year
• Review financial records, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
• Support small businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals with accounting and tax needs
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide proactive planning recommendations
• Work collaboratively with the internal team to ensure accurate and timely client deliverables
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information
• Contribute ideas and process improvements as the firm continues to grow

Qualifications

• Licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent required
• 8+ years of experience in tax and accounting
• Strong knowledge of individual and business tax preparation
• Experience with tax planning and client advisory services
• Excellent communication and client-service skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
• Ability to manage deadlines and take ownership of client work
• Experience with CCH Axcess or similar cloud-based tax software preferred
• Experience with agents, entertainers, or entertainment-industry clients is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Pay: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
