We are currently seeking compassionate and motivated Disability Support Workers to support a participant in Fairfield.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will:

• Provide personalised, person-centred support
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care
• Support clients to build independence and life skills
• Implement individual support plans and goals
• Facilitate community participation and engagement
• Assist with meal planning and preparation
• Administer medication in line with protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Ensure dignity, comfort, and safety at all times

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions, including behaviour support and schizophrenia
• A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team

Essential:

• Cert III in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working With Children Check
• Experience in disability support (including direct client care)
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
