Experienced Electrician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical systems, with a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). This role involves working on construction sites, performing installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems. The Electrician will utilize various tools and instruments, including voltmeters and ohmmeters, to ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with NEC regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks related to electrical installations.
• Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical circuits.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Perform troubleshooting on electrical systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organized throughout the project duration.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial or residential settings; experience on commercial sites is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards related to high voltage systems.
• Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other relevant equipment.
• Basic skills in frame carpentry are a plus for assisting with structural installations.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
• A valid electrician's license or certification is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
