We value practical people who use their initiative, adapt to changing site requirements and take pride in doing the job properly. In return, we provide a supportive environment, invest in training and development, and offer genuine opportunities for long-term progression.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Fire Stopper with at least three years’ experience and a strong understanding of passive fire protection and compartmentation. • Produce accurate, compliant installation records and photographic evidence using the required recording system; training will be provided where necessary
  • Ensure all work meets quality, health and safety, and compliance requirements
  • Liaise professionally with site managers, principal contractors and clients
  • Travel to projects nationwide, including occasional overnight stays

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience producing detailed, compliant installation records
  • Clear, professional communication and the ability to build positive working relationships on site
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Relevant passive fire protection qualification or NVQ
  • Strong working knowledge of ROCKWOOL products, standard details and correct installation techniques
  • Valid CSCS card or other relevant site certification

Pay and Benefits

  • £18 per hour
  • Monday-to-Friday overtime opportunities, with qualifying overtime paid at time and a half; the applicable threshold will be confirmed as part of the offer
  • Paid annual leave
  • Door-to-door paid travel
  • Company pension scheme
  • Employee Assistance Programme and wellbeing support
  • Company vehicle and fuel card
  • Accommodation and expenses covered for work requiring overnight stays
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Genuine opportunity to progress within a growing business
  • Supportive, team-focused culture where your contribution matters
