Experienced Forklift Operator & Production Team Member

Location: Clayton South, VIC
Work Type: Permanent, Full-Time, On-site
Pay Rate: Up to $34 per hour + super
Shift: AM Shift - 7:30am to 3:30pm
 
Vectura Recruitment is partnering with a well-established production and manufacturing operation in Victoria to recruit an experienced Forklift Driver for a permanent, full-time role on their AM shift.

This position is suited to a reliable, hands-on operator who is comfortable working across forklift operation and manual handling, and who consistently demonstrates high standards of safety, accuracy, and teamwork within a fast-paced production environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift in accordance with workplace safety procedures
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials accurately
• Perform manual handling tasks, including loading by hand where required
• Maintain housekeeping standards across the work area
• Complete production records, paperwork, and data accurately
• Follow all SOPs, safety procedures, and work instructions
• Participate in training related to equipment operation and safety
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet operational targets
• Report safety hazards, near misses, and incidents as required

Skills & Experience

• Valid forklift licence with demonstrated operational experience
• Proven experience in a physically demanding role
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Comfortable performing repetitive manual handling tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance record
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
• Sound communication, numeracy, and literacy skills
• Strong work ethic with a high level of care for safety, equipment, and product quality

Compliance & Assessments

• Physical capability assessment required
• Drug and alcohol test required
• Must be physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
