Experienced Front Desk Sales - Bakery

We are looking for a friendly, creative, and organized individual to join our Front Desk Team at our bakery and custom cake shop!

About Us

We are a custom bakery specializing in beautifully designed cakes for weddings, birthdays, celebrations, and all occasions. Our team works closely with customers to bring their cake ideas to life and create a memorable experience from consultation to pickup.

Our store hours are Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. Needs to be available these hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and through email/social media
• Take cake orders and help customers design their custom cakes
• Meet one-on-one with customers for consultations, cake tastings, and cake design
• Provide customers with pricing and prepare quotes
• Process cash, credit card, and check payments in person and over the phone
• Prepare daily bake lists and organize orders
• Print edible images and other materials needed for orders
• File and maintain customer orders and paperwork
• Respond to customer questions and messages
• Keep the front of the store clean, organized, and welcoming
• Assist with other bakery and front-desk duties as needed
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs

Qualifications

• Friendly and comfortable communicating with customers and coworkers
• Experience in sales
• Excellent customer service skills
• Creative and interested in cake design and decorating
• Organized, detail-oriented, and patient
• Positive attitude and enthusiastic personality
• Fast learner who can multitask in a busy environment
• Comfortable with sales and making recommendations to customers
• Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus
• Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
• Must be comfortable using a computer, email, and social media
• College students are welcome to apply if they are able to maintain a flexible schedule

Schedule Requirements

Saturdays are required.

Sunday availability may also be required during our peak seasons.

We are looking for someone dependable, enthusiastic, and excited to be part of a creative bakery environment!

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
