General Laborer – Scrap Metal Recycling Facility

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, grade, and process incoming ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Operate basic tools, machinery, and equipment following all safety guidelines.
• Assist with site cleanup, keeping work areas, walkways, and loading zones organized and hazard-free.
• Collaborate closely with team members and yard supervisors to meet daily processing goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in general labor, industrial, construction, or scrap yard field work required.
• Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated with a focus on efficiency and safety.
• Team Player: Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward working with others.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Safety-conscious mindset and willingness to wear required PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, etc.).
