Green’s Tree Service is a family-owned, licensed and insured tree company (CSLB #1143551, C-61/D49) serving Marin and southern Sonoma County. We’re a small crew that takes pride in safe, clean, quality work, and we’re looking for a seasoned ground guy to join us.

The Job
You’ll work directly with our climber on residential tree removals, pruning, and cleanup. We need someone who knows the work, can run the ground on their own, and keeps the job site safe and moving.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a groundsman with a tree service
• Rigging experience: running ropes, lowering limbs and wood, and working with the climber to bring pieces down safely
• Comfortable running both large and small chainsaws, including bucking and limbing
• Able to drive a truck pulling a trailer, with solid trailer backing skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to do physically demanding work outdoors in all conditions, including lifting, dragging brush, and loading wood
• Reliable, on time, and safety-minded

A Plus but not required

• Experience running a stump grinder and other tree equipment
• Climbing experience

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
