Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator

In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, dump trucks, water trucks, and tankers, to facilitate excavation, grading, utility work, and site development. Your expertise will help ensure that construction activities are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction machinery such as excavators , dozers, backhoes, loaders, dump trucks, water trucks, and tankers to perform excavation, grading, utility installation, and site preparation tasks.
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
• Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members.
• Perform construction site tasks including grading, trenching, backfilling, and general earthmoving activities with precision.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and safety inspections to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate activities and meet project deadlines while adhering to all safety regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators , dozers (dozer), loaders (loader operation), backhoes (backhoe operation), dump trucks (dump truck), water trucks (water truck), and tankers (tanker).
• Strong knowledge of construction machinery maintenance routines to troubleshoot issues promptly and minimize downtime.
• Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and adherence to all safety procedures on active job sites.
• Construction site experience with a focus on excavation, grading, utility installation, and general earthmoving tasks.
• Ability to perform construction utility work including utility locating with specialized equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery operation and maintenance is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license Is a must.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
