What they need
Job Overview
Rollertown Beerworks is looking for experienced bartenders who can handle serious volume, bring great energy, and keep the guest experience locked in from the first pour to last call.
We’re a high-volume brewery, bar, and event venue with multiple bar areas, private events, concerts, festivals, game days, and packed weekends. We need bartenders who are fast, friendly, reliable, and know how to move with purpose without losing the vibe.
This is not the place for someone who wants to casually ease into bartending. We’re looking for people who have been in the weeds before and know how to stay calm, efficient, and guest-focused when the bar is slammed.
Responsibilities
- Provide fast, friendly, and consistent service in a high-volume bar environment.
- Prepare and serve beer, cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately.
- Engage with guests and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain strong knowledge of our beer, cocktail, and beverage offerings.
- Handle high-volume service during weekends, concerts, private events, festivals, and major game days.
- Follow all TABC laws and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Check IDs, monitor guest consumption, and handle service situations professionally.
- Keep bar areas clean, stocked, organized, and service-ready.
- Run tabs, process payments accurately, and follow all POS procedures.
- Work as part of a team with bartenders, barbacks, managers, event staff, and kitchen/food partners.
- Restock product, change kegs, prep garnishes, batch ingredients, and support overall bar flow as needed.
- Maintain a positive attitude, even when it’s busy, loud, and chaotic.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience preferred.
- High-volume bar, brewery, restaurant, hotel, event venue, nightlife, or concert venue experience strongly preferred.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Strong beer, cocktail, and spirits knowledge preferred.
- Must be guest-focused, team-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and ready to work nights, weekends, holidays, and major event days.
- TABC certification required or must be obtained before starting.
- Food Handler certification preferred or must be obtained if required.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- No drama, no ego, no disappearing when it gets busy.
The Right Fit
- You know how to work fast without looking frantic.
- You can make guests feel taken care of even when the bar is three-deep.
- You understand that cleanliness, speed, and attitude all matter.
- You’re cool under pressure and don’t need to be babysat.
- You can take direction, communicate clearly, and help the team win.
- You bring energy, urgency, and hospitality every shift.
Compensation
Competitive hourly pay plus tips.
Pay will be based on experience, availability, and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.
Schedule
Part-time and full-time opportunities available.
Must have availability for nights, weekends, holidays, concerts, private events, festivals, and major game days.
