Duties

• Operate industrial laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to process linens and hotel textiles efficiently.
• Handle materials with care using proper manual handling techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety.
• Manage laundry detergents and cleaning agents safely according to established safety standards in production.
• Sort, fold, and organize clean linens and garments using push carts or other transport tools for easy distribution.
• Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to strict hygiene protocols during all laundry processes.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving bulky items or large loads while following safety protocol adherence.
• Support guest service by ensuring timely delivery of fresh linens and responding to special laundry requests when needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel laundry operations or textile cleaning environments.
• Knowledge of laundry services including washing, dry cleaning, sanitation, and garment care machine operation.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and pushing carts.
• Familiarity with laundry detergents, cleaning chemicals, and safety standards related to production environments.
• Basic math skills for measuring chemicals and managing inventory levels accurately.
• Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence to prevent accidents during heavy-duty tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guest satisfaction.
• Prior hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
