Experienced Housekeeper required

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join our hardworking team at the Bella Vista Motel and Apartments in the heart of Christchurch. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, providing high-quality cleaning and housekeeping services to our valued guests.

What you'll be doing

• Thoroughly cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, common areas and public spaces to the highest standard
• Restocking and replenishing room supplies and linens
• Identifying and reporting any maintenance or repair needs
• Ensuring a welcoming and inviting environment for our guests
• Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene protocols
• Collaborating with the wider housekeeping team to deliver efficient and seamless service

What we're looking for

• Significant experience as a Housekeeper, preferably in a hotel or similar hospitality setting
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Strong time management and organisational skills to work efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Familiarity with standard hotel cleaning procedures and equipment
• A positive can do attitude and a love of cleaning is essential
• Must be available to work weekends and public holidays, days or work will vary week to week
• Hours of work are from 9.30-12.30pm, flexibility to start early and finish later is essential. This position is a permanent part time position with a mininum hours of 10 hours per week but looking for someone who is able to work up to 20 hours per week. Hours of work will vary week to week depending on our business needs.
