Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with at least 5 years of hands-on field experience. The ideal candidate will be skilled in installation, maintenance, & repair of HVAC systems & committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Job Title: HVAC Technician

• We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician with experience in large residential & commercial buildings.
• The ideal candidate will have an educated, strong, & successful background, in the HVAC industry.
• This role involves installing, maintaining, & repairing HVAC systems in residential & commercial properties.
• The HVAC Technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting & ensuring optimal system performance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, & repair HVAC systems including: A/C units, Heat Pumps, Chillers, Boilers, Water-Cooled systems, VRF's, VFD's, & Refrigeration systems.
• Conduct routine inspections & preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot & diagnose issues using wiring diagrams, schematics, & technical manuals.
• Perform equipment repairs or replacements when necessary; including plumbing & electrical components.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively & in a respectful manner, with clients regarding their HVAC necessities.
• Maintain accurate records of jobs & work performed, including pictures, service reports, & maintenance logs. (Pictures are so important, its hard to express.)
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards & local codes
• Adhere to safety protocols while working on job sites to ensure a safe work environment.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics & understanding HVAC design principles.
• Experience as a service technician with a focus on field service operations.
• Ability to perform appliance repair tasks related to HVAC systems.
• Communication is extremely important. We need technicians who will communicate well with others (office, coworkers, & clients).
• Must be an achiever, a go-getter & a hustler.
• One who possess the passion & drive to work in this field.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength (50 + Lbs.).

Required licenses & certificates:

• Clean Driving Record.
• EPA - Section 608.
• OSHA 30, OSHA 40, or NATE.
• NYC Fire Dept. Certificate for Fireguard: F-60.
• NYC Fire Dept. Certificate for Torch Use of Flammable Gases: G-60.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday to Friday (with occasional Sundays &/or overtime)
