Duties

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
• Conduct maintenance on mechanical systems and perform equipment troubleshooting to ensure reliable operation.
• Repair plumbing components related to HVAC systems and handle appliance repairs as needed.
• Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction during field service visits.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician with construction experience preferred.
• Strong background in HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance with service technician experience.
• Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration systems, and plumbing.
• Mechanical knowledge of mechanical systems repair including boilers and building automation systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues using specialized tools such as ohmmeters and refrigerant gauges.
• Experience working with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems in various settings.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is advantageous.
• Mechanical or mechanic experience combined with field service expertise is highly desirable.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
