Experienced Interior Demolition Supervisor

We are seeking an Experienced Interior Demolition Supervisor to lead and oversee commercial interior demolition projects. This position is responsible for supervising field crews, coordinating daily job activities, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and according to project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead interior demolition crews on commercial and industrial projects
• Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to ensure productivity and project completion
• Ensure all demolition activities are performed safely and in accordance with OSHA requirements and company policies
• Read and interpret demolition plans, drawings, and project specifications
• Coordinate with project managers, customers, and other contractors regarding job progress and site conditions
• Monitor project schedules and communicate potential delays or challenges
• Perform quality checks to ensure work meets project expectations
• Train and mentor employees on proper demolition methods and safe work practices
• Conduct daily safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, manpower, and project updates
• Oversee proper use, care, and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Assist with hands-on demolition activities as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial interior demolition experience preferred
• Previous experience as a demolition foreman, supervisor, or crew leader required
• Strong knowledge of selective demolition, interior demolition processes, and construction sequencing
• Ability to read and understand drawings, and scopes of work
• Experience leading and managing field crews
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety practices
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various job locations

Preferred Experience

• Commercial, industrial, government, or shipyard demolition experience
• Experience working around active construction sites
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Abatement experience is a plus
