Experienced Iron Worker Superintendent/Forman

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Iron working Superintendent/Foreman to lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive Iron working experience at the Journeyman level and experience leading teams. As a key team member, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate schedules, manage crews, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. This is a working position so candidates should expect to work alongside their teams as needed to complete the mission.

Duties

• Lead on-site construction activities, supervising crews and subcontractors to meet project timelines and quality benchmarks
• Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents to ensure accurate implementation
• Coordinate construction schedules with project managers, clients, and suppliers to optimize workflow and resource allocation
• Enforce OSHA safety regulations, and job site specific standards to maintain a safe work environment at all times
• Conduct quality control inspections, ensuring adherence to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
• Oversee construction safety management practices, including site safety audits and incident reporting

Requirements

• Proven experience in the Iron working trade with a strong background in supervising teams on active sites
• Extensive knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and schematics accurately
• Skilled in managing project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control processes
• Strong communication skills for effective management of crews, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to supervise multiple teams while maintaining high safety standards and project deadlines

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
