Experienced Irrigation Foreman

ALPHA Landscapes is seeking an all-star irrigation installation foreman.

ALPHA Landscapes is a 100% new-construction focused landscape firm working with the top general contractors and developers in the area. ALPHA Landscapes started with a pickup truck and a wheelbarrow in 2018 and has now grown into one of the largest commercial landscape construction firms in Iowa with top of the line trucks and equipment, and 50+ employees operating out of our new Des Moines office.

This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing, yet stable company, with typical hours between 40-60 weekly, March-December (20+ average in off-season) pay starting at $23-30/Hr

What does a typical day look like at ALPHA?

• Loading materials and equipment on the shop every morning
• Overall job site management of irrigation installation
• Plan reading and layout
• Vibratory plow and trencheroperation
• Training/developing team members.

The ideal applicant should have the following at minimum:

• 5+ Years irrigation experience, with at least one year in a foreman position
• Landscape/planting/hardscape/irrigation knowledge
• Time management skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Required to endure prolonged periods of standing or walking and extended periods of bending, stooping, and lifting
• Ability to lift 15-50 lbs. frequently
