Experienced IT Account Manager | Relationship and Retention Focused

About the role

Own and manage a portfolio of established IT services clients. You'll be the first point of contact for your clients and the one who follows through.

Have grounded technology conversations with business owners and IT managers, translate the technical into plain language, and spot where existing clients could get more value to grow accounts naturally as their needs change.

This is a farming role focused on relationships and retention, not new business acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of established IT services clients
• Be the first point of contact for your clients, and the one who follows through
• Have grounded technology conversations with business owners and IT managers
• Translate the technical into plain language, minus the jargon
• Spot where existing clients could get more value, and grow accounts the honest way
• Troubleshoot and resolve client issues inside committed timeframes
• Get onsite with clients and suppliers when it counts

About you

• 5+ years in an IT services environment, ideally in account management
• A relationship first, mature approach; you back your own judgement
• Strong communication; you make technical concepts land for any audience
• Solid organisation; you juggle without dropping things
• Genuine care for quality and detail
• Curiosity about AI and automation
• A team player who lives our values
