Experienced Kitchen Hand – Full Time

Paul & Sons Eatery is seeking an experienced, reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team in Doncaster.

We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment, takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety, and enjoys working as part of a professional hospitality team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with food preparation and daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting and portioning.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen.
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment.
• Receive and store food deliveries correctly.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Assist with stock rotation, storage and kitchen organisation.
• Support the kitchen team during busy breakfast and lunch services.
• Complete daily cleaning and kitchen opening/closing duties.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial kitchen or hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Physically capable of performing kitchen duties.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work weekends and rostered shifts when required.

• Competitive salary: $60,000 – $70,000 + superannuation, depending on experience.
