Experienced labourer

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Experienced Labourer to join our dynamic plastering team. In this vital role, you will contribute to a variety of site activities, supporting skilled trades dealing mainly with finishes and ensuring smooth project progress. Such as;

• Taping/Jointing
• Plastering
• Spray Plastering

Duties

• Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, unloading materials, and setting up work areas
• Support skilled workers by carrying tools, materials, and equipment as needed
• Perform general manual tasks such as lifting, mixing plaster, and moving supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized work site to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols at all times and report any hazards or incidents promptly
• Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision, including wheelbarrows, hand tools, and small power tools
• Contribute to the timely completion of projects by completing assigned tasks with enthusiasm and precision

Skills

• Proven experience as a labourer or in a similar manual labor role within construction or related industries
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform strenuous tasks for extended periods
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in construction work
• Reliable punctuality and strong work ethic

Pay: £13.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
