Experienced Lather & Plasterer

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Lather & Plasterer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of lathing and plastering tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of building interiors and exteriors, including drywall installation, stucco application, masonry work, and restoration projects. Responsibilities

• Install metal lath and other plaster base materials.
• Apply plaster, stucco, and other exterior/interior finishes.
• Prepare surfaces for plaster and stucco application.
• Repair and patch existing plaster and stucco surfaces.
• Install corner beads, trims, and other plaster accessories.
• Read and follow basic construction plans and project specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work with the crew to complete projects on time and to a high standard.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with lath and plaster installation.
• Experience applying plaster, stucco, and finish coats.
• Ability to prepare surfaces and install metal lath, corner beads, and other plaster accessories.
• Skilled with common hand and power tools used for lath and plaster work.
• Ability to read and follow basic construction plans and specifications.
• Comfortable working from scaffolding and ladders while following safety procedures.
• Knowledge of plaster, stucco, and related building materials.
• Ability to perform repairs, patching, and restoration work.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to completing work safely and on schedule.
• Previous lath and plaster experience preferred.

Pay: $26.25 - $31.62 per hour
