As a Nursery Practitioner, you will have the following skills and experience:

· Sound knowledge and current experience of the EYFS

· Excellent communication skills with children, their families and your colleagues

· Experience of being a key person including undertaking regular observations and record keeping

· Experience of planning and assessment writing to improve children's outcomes

· A commitment to the care and wellbeing of all children at the nursery

· A positive, happy, can-do attitude and a willingness to maintain continuous professional development through a variety of training

· The ability to take control of situations particularly at the busier parts of the day

· Strong organisational skills

Qualification required:

· Minimum of a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in childcare and education

· At least 1 years’ experience of working as a Nursery Practitioner within a nursery setting

· Relevant safeguarding and first aid training helpful but not essential as we can provide the training

This is a permanent, full time position to be worked over 5 days. Shift patterns vary within the hours of 9 and 3pm.

The nursery and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. As part of the Company's Safer Recruitment practice successful applicants will need to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and provide two satisfactory references.
