Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full-Time to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care, assist with medical assessments, and support our mission to deliver compassionate, efficient healthcare services. Your expertise will help ensure our patients receive timely and effective treatment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories.
• Assist providers with examinations and minor office procedures.
• Perform EKGs, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.
• Administer injections and medications as authorized.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Ensure exam rooms and clinical supplies are properly maintained.

Lead Responsibilities

• Provide daily guidance and support to Medical Assistants.
• Coordinate patient rooming and clinical workflow.
• Assist with training and onboarding new clinical staff.
• Monitor completion of daily clinical responsibilities.
• Ensure staff follow established office policies and procedures.
• Communicate workflow concerns and staffing needs to the Practice Administrator.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and accountability within the clinical department.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut LPN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an LPN required.
• Previous urgent care or primary care experience preferred.
• Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Experience working with electronic medical records.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a busy medical office.
