Experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic

R&M Mechanical is looking for an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop in Homebush West.

We’re a small independent workshop, and we’ll keep this straightforward. We’re looking for a good mechanic who takes pride in their work, is reliable, and can work confidently without someone constantly looking over their shoulder.

Your main job is to work on the cars. We handle the customers, quoting, approvals and administration so you can focus on getting the work done properly.

The work includes:

• General and logbook servicing
• Brakes and suspension
• General mechanical repairs
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Tyre fitting, balancing and puncture repairs
• Wheel alignments
• Vehicle inspections

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Able to work independently and efficiently
• Confident with general mechanical repairs and diagnostics
• Experience with tyres and wheel alignments
• Comfortable using digital job cards
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable, honest and professional
• AIS Examiner’s Certificate would be an advantage, but isn’t essential
