Magley Animal Hospital is a small but busy animal clinic seeking a dedicated, compassionate, positive team player with professional maturity. We are a 2 doctor practice and want to add the right person to our close knit group.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, veterinary technician to help us achieve this.

Requirements: Veterinary Technician License (1+ years experience Preferred). Must have a strong work ethic (see below)-Pulse proficiency is a plus but not required.

Starting pay will be based on experience.

Job duties include but are not limited to -

• Patient care, observation, medication administration
• Cleaning kennels, cages, & maintaining a clean hospital
• Canine and Feline vaccination protocol
• Safe restraint techniques
• Venipuncture, catheter placement & maintenance skills
• Give SQ, IV, IM injections
• Proficient laboratory (Heska equipment) & pharmacy knowledge
• Anesthesia induction, monitoring, & recovery
• Dental prophylaxis
• Preparing patients for surgery
• Radiology
• Knowledge of Heartworm, Flea, and Tick prevention
• In-house lab tests including fecal, urinalysis, ear cytology, skin scrape
